Necessary applications

WinZip was created in early 90′s and now (since 2006) is developed by Corel. The previous developed was WinZip Computing (some people may remember its previous name: Nico Mak Compuring). After more that fifteen years and in spite of huge competition, WinZip is still one of the best and the most popular file compressors. That useful and well-known commercial application was created for Microsoft Windows OS.

Despite of the fact that applications such as 7-Zip are free to use, WinZip is still very popular. While using this application we will have no problem with the following formats: ZIP, 7Z, BZ2, TAR, RAR and with over a dozen other.

The program has options such as: diving heavy files, burning data and (especially important for webmasters): sending archived data directly to FTP Server.
